Staff Application – Staff application for the 2024 camp season is open! Please see the section below for details on the staff application process.

If you cannot apply online for some reason, please contact the office for a PDF version. Please note that unless otherwise stated, all positions are considered to be volunteer roles. Galilee is able to provide community hours for those requesting it.

1) Police Check – All staff the age of 18 and over, regardless of position, are now required to have a vulnerable sector and criminal police check within the past five years on file, when accompanied annually by a reference letter from your church leadership. PLEASE NOTE: We are now requiring everyone to obtain a Galilee-specific vulnerable sector check. We will no longer accept police checks from other churches or organizations. Please use the Volunteer Police Check Letter below to complete a vulnerable sector check online or at your local police station. We recommend that you request the electronic option & forward the results to gbc@galileebiblecamp.ca. (Please note that as of November 1, 2018, anyone under the age of 18, living in Ontario, will not be able to obtain a police check.)

2) Spiritual Reference Form from a Church Leader – A spiritual reference must be provided by your elder, pastor or youth leader. They will need to fill out the form online. YOU are responsible for providing the form link to the church leader.

3) Personal Reference Form – If this is your very first time serving at camp, you will be required to submit 2 letters of reference. They will need to complete the form online. YOU are responsible for providing the link to them. At least one of the two must know you in a context outside of your local church. The reference cannot be from an immediate family member.

Once your application and all of your documentation have been received, the summer camp committee will review your information. A decision will be communicated to by the end of May.
